Zion Celebration Church is a registered denomination in Kenya with lots of locations. Our headquarter is in Shanzu town near Mombasa City. It is the home church where Pastor Joshua Kadenga is based but due to the extensive travelling needed to serve other locations, most of the preaching is delegated to two other pastors, Michael Saro and Joseph Kalama.
We currently support and govern 34 churches, 18 of which Joshua directly planted but in addition we endeavour to be a light in the community using the resources we have been given.
Building – Zion Celebration Churches meet in over 30 locations but have we have only one permanent building. Many of our churches are temporary structures where roofs do not protect members from rain, so meetings are often cancelled because of poor weather.
Feeding – Our church members have suffered greatly in recent times, especially during the pandemic. Many people lost their jobs and in 2021 a severe drought meant that crops failed. Our members are often hungry as the areas where we minister are in the poorest areas. Our pastors strive to support members in greatest need, whenever they can.
Clothes – We also provide clothes for the very poorest families in our communities in line with the Gospel as stated in the Bible where Dorcas provided clothes for widows and orphans (Acts 9:36).
Education – We understand that the way to improve lives is through education. A good education can help impact the wider community. Therefore, we are committed to helping as many poor children get a good education. So far, we have sponsored 4 children through fundraising and church offerings. Two of them have finished form four and two are still in High School.
Missions – We donate 30% of our offerings toward missions which include Evangelism and Gospel outreach.
Currently we have congregations at these locations…
